When we were in the hospital, Mikel was quite sure he liked his new sister. He just wasn’t too sold on the idea of keeping her around.

Lala: Mik, do you love your baby sister?
Mikel: Yah…
Lala: So can we bring her home?
Mikel: Nooo!

We had that conversation in the hospital everyday. Even on the car ride bringing Raquel home.

Lala: Mikel, do you love Raquel?
Mikel: Yah…
Lala: So can we please bring her home now?
Mikel: Noooo! New bibi tay in da carr.

However, I’m pleased to report that as soon as we got home, he was tugging on my pants, gesturing to the playroom and saying, “Put new bibi my rumm”. All is well…
